Chinkara poaching case is something we all are aware of. Well, it’s an 18-year-old case against Bollywood actor Salman Khan in which he was declared innocent by the Rajasthan High Court.
And while everyone thought that was IT. Apparently, the trouble doesn’t seem to get over for the actor.
The Rajasthan government has filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court against Salman’s acquittal in the Chinkara poaching case.
According to reports, the hearing is expected to come up some time after Diwali vacations.
If you recall, the Rajasthan High Court acquitted Salman, who was accused of killing two Chinkaras in separate incidents.
It happened when Salman was in Rajasthan shooting for his film ‘Hum Sath Sath Hai’.
One animal died on the outskirts of Jodhpur on September 26, 1998 and the other one at Ghoda Farms on September 28, 1998.
Salman had moved the court after his conviction by a lower court – one and five year terms in different incidents of poaching.
