Sonu Nigam’s Azaan controversy is now going a step ahead after a senior member of a minority council issued a fatwa against the singer. And how Nigam replied is a very brave step!
Last evening, Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi, vice president, West Bengal Minority United Council, while talking to a leading newspaper stated, “If anyone can shave his(Sonu Nigam) hair, put a garland of old torn shoes around his neck and tour him around the country I personally announce an award of Rs 10 lakh for that person.”
Later, Sonu Nigam took to his Twitter replied boldly, “Today at 2 pm Aalim will come to my place, and shave my head. Keep your 10 lakhs ready Maulavi.” There’s no doubt that the star could be landed in very danger situation after the Fatwa has come out. Thus, Sonu has beefed up the security outside his house and pictures of the site are uploaded in next page.
