A few days ago, the makers of South film ‘Magadheera’ slapped plagiarism charges on the upcoming film ‘Raabta’ – that the film’s script is a rip off of their movie. In the heat of these accusations, the lead pair of Raabta – Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon attended the premiere of Sachin Tendulkar’s movie ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’.
When the media questioned Sushant as to what he thinks of those claims of plagiarism, an otherwise chilled out Sushant suddenly lost his cool. “If you read up any book on screenplay, the most basic book, the first chapter of that book tells you that there are only eight different stories that you can tell, so every story is from those stories. It’s as simple as that,” he began to fume.
Kriti Sanon saw Sushant losing his temper at the media, and tried to pacify both – Sushant and the journalists – by saying that she has personally compared the scripts of both the films and that she doesn’t find any similarities.
But Sushant was not ready to keep quiet. He continued yelling, “And whoever you are talking about, whoever has a problem or sees a similarity can watch our film and they will get to know!”

Whether Raabta is a copy of Magadheera or not will be decided in the court on June 1. Raabta is slated to hit the theatres on June 9. Let’s see what the court decides.
