On the second Monday since its release on 25 January, Raees is showing no signs of stopping at the Box Office. Shah Rukh Khan’s latest avatar as a gangster in 1980’s Gujarat seems to be working. The film set in 1980’s Gujarat, Raees was the story of a ruthless bootlegger Raees Alam. The film is weaving magic at the box office. The movie witnessed excellent response throughout the opening week and remained the first choice of audience over Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil.

The Rahul Dholakia directed film Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan saw a simultaneous release in both the overseas and domestic markets. On Monday, the film earned about Rs 4.75 crore to cross the Rs 150-crore mark in India. The SRK film has also made Rs 91 crore gross worldwide, which brings its worldwide gross collection to Rs 304 crore.
