It’s just been 4 days since Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Pink’ hit the theatres, and the post-release buzz and word of mouth of the movie has done wonders to its business at the Box Office. Here’s how….
‘Pink’ that has been made on a shoe-string budget of about Rs 26 crores has chances of earning a good amount of profit by the end of its first week. This Amitabh Bachchan starrer, that also stars Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Taring, Angad Bedi and Piyush Mishra, opened in the theatres to a 4.32 crores, which was not bad, given its small budget and not too many popular actors.
The second day, owing to huge appreciation by word-of-mouth, this film earned around 7.65 crores. It further went strong with a steady Sunday of about 9.54 crores. Amitabh Bachchan’s Pink was not at all disappointing on its first Monday too, as it raked in about 3.78 crores. Within 4 days, Pink tucked in a good 25.29 crores, which also means its cost has been recovered already.
#Pink continues its VICTORY MARCH on Mon… Fri 4.32 cr, Sat 7.65 cr, Sun 9.54 cr, Mon 3.78 cr. Total: ₹ 25.29 cr. India biz.

That is not all. Pink’s overseas collection is good too. As per reports, Pink’s overseas collection was 6.55 crores, which makes its total business of 32.16 crores! That’s not bad at all. Especially for a film that does not boast of any glam, item songs, fancy frills – JUST A STRONG SCRIPT that speaks for itself.
