Salman Khan’s this year Eid release Tubelight finally enters into 100 Cr club and become the eleventh highest grossest film of Salman after the Sultan’s success at Box Office. According to early estimates, Tubelight earned Rs 4.25 crore on Friday and touched Rs 100 Cr mark. But the film’s grossing rate is disappointing as it shows the dropping note on every passing day.
Unlike Sultan and his earlier Eid releases, Salman Khan’s Tubelight took six days to reach 100 Cr club. Here’s the day to day breakdown of Tubelight Box Office Collection:
Day 1 – Friday (June 23) – Rs 21.15 crore
Day 2 – Saturday (June 24) – Rs 21.17 crore
Day 3 – Sunday (June 25) – Rs 22.45 crore
Day 4 – Monday (June 26) – Rs 19.09 crore
Day 5 – Tuesday (June 27) – Rs 12 crore
Day 6 – Wednesday (June 28) – Rs 6.50 crore
Day 7 – Thursday (June 29) – Rs 4.50 crore
Day 8 – Friday (June 30) – Rs 4.25 crore (approx)
Approximate eight-day box-office collection of Tubelight: Rs 111.11 crore. Here you can notice the collection of the film is dropping each passing day which is very disappointing. Meanwhile, Tubelight actress Zhu Zhu has cancelled her plan to Visit the India as she’s disheartened with the mixed response towards the film.
Yet the film still becomes the second highest first week of the year after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion as Salman’s fans are making sure that Bhai’s film does not sink without a trace. Directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight features Late actor Om Puri, Sohail Khan, Zhu Zhu, and Matin Rey Tangu. After being a remake of 2015 American war drama Little Boy, Tubelight is still falling down at Box Office.
