Salman Khan’s Tubelight is ruling all over the internet as the much-awaited day of the year ‘Eid’ is just 5 days away. Before its release, we are here to analyse the consequences of Tubelight touching those magical numbers on Box Office. However, everyone’s eyes will be on Tubelight whether it is able to break Bahu’s record or not and Kabir Khan’s film is preparing for the same. Let use see how Tubelight will perform nearly on the basis of below predictions.
Let’s start with the film’s budget and other elements. So the Tubelight’s budget is 100 Cr with its total production and marketing budget being more than that of both Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. The producers, though, have already made a whopping amount by trading its theatrical, satellite, and overseas rights. Their expectations have already risen for the film.
|Total Budget||100 crore|
|Satellite Rights||60 crore|
|Music Rights||20 crore|
|Domestic Theatrical Rights||132 crore|
|Overseas Theatrical Rights||75 crore|
|Total Profit||187 crore|
Tubelight has to earn a minimum of 300 crores to be considered a clean hit and has to become the first Bollywood film to cross 400 crores if Salman Khan wishes to add to his list of blockbusters.
|Blockbuster||Above 400 crore|
|Above Average||280-299 crore|
|Below Average||200-249 crore|
|Flop||Below 200 crore|
According to trade analyst and media reports, Tubelight will cross 300 to 400 crores. He already earns a lot in Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan which were directed by Kabir Khan again both of them are working together. The film would collect 110-120 crore in its first weekend and opening with 35-40 core will give a fantastic start to the film.
|Parameter||Prediction in Nett (INR)|
|Opening Day||35-40 crore|
|Opening Weekend||110-120 crore|
Tubelight is also lacking some areas of interest, except the song Radio, none of the other songs has gained views. The trailer is looking quite similar to Bajrangi Bhaijaan and with due respect to Sohail Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has enjoyed the popularity in Bajrangi Bhaijaan which Sohail seems doesn’t. The economics of the film are extremely high, and anything below 350 crores at the ticket window would be considered a disappointing result.
