The much-awaited release of the year finally saw the dawn. Here’s a film that has not just Bollywood, but also cricket – two religions of India combined into one. This explains the hype and excitement surrounding the film. Also, it promises to show the real life of India’s most celebrated player M.S. Dhoni. The  movie begins on a good note, and most parts are quite heart-touching. Sushant is excellent in his portrayal of Mahi. But if you think this is Mahi’s life ‘Uncut’, you might be in for a little bit of disappointment. The filmmaker has not taken so many liberties as one needs to make a true-blue biography.

THE GOOD
Sushant Singh Rajput’s performance is unbeatable. A huge applause for his acting prowess.
Neeraj Pandey has shown emotions of a struggling cricketer and his humility in such impeccable details, it is worth your time.
The way the life, problems and aspirations of a small-town family are portrayed is par excellence.
