Preview: Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away

If you are fond of films that are full of fantasy and visual effects, then the upcoming December release Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away is your ultimate destination.

This movie had its grand premiere at the Tokyo International Film Festival on October 20, 2012. It is coming in both 2d and 3d versions. It is directed by the Shrek, Shrek 2 and Chronicles of Narnia fame & Oscar Nominated director Andrew Adamson. It starts Erica Linz & Igor Zaripov as lead pair. Its 3-d visual effects were highly admired by the critics on its Tokyo International film premiere.

But, the foremost reason that this movie is the most awaited movie of this year is because the attachment of James Cameron with it. Yes, you read it right. The legendary film maker himself is the executive producer of the movie and had worked very hard on its visualization and 3d effects. It is rumored to have exactly the same3d technology which was displayed in Cameron’s earlier film, the all time blockbuster “Avatar”.

In fact, not only James Cameron & Andrew Adamson but also several renowned film-makers have worked on this project like Martin Bolduc (credited for producing Emmy award winner television series “Cirque du Soleil: Fire Within”), Aron Warner (Shrek, Shrek 2 Producer), Cary Granat (The Chronicles of Narnia, Producer) and many others. 

It is very well written and directed by Andrew Adamson and it was proved true when the critics showered an immense praise of the movie after watching it in the Tokyo. The camera work of cinematographer Brett Tumbull was highly appreciated. It not only has some world class scenes and effects but also a very lovely love story that also impresses the audiences.

This movie is produced by Paramount Pictures in association with James Cameron’s CAMERON pace partner group Vincent Pace who is also the film’s 3d executive producer. The film depicts the amazing journey of a young couple in Cirque du Soleil with a desire to find each other in this wonderful world.

The lead pair of Erica Linz & Igor Zaripov was casted over various other actors as they have previously worked in the Cirque du Soleil series and because of it they were acumen in performing the aerial straps and were outstanding acrobats. Usually, It takes years to teach a person such aerial straps. Erica Linz described her experience of filming such acrobatic movements outstanding as she had been performing such things since the age of 19 in Cirque du Soleil.

The one thing that everyone liked about the movie other than the direction of Andrew Adamson & Presence of James Cameron was the very high octane acrobatics and visually stunned special effects designed by Vincent pace. This is the foremost reason that movie is receiving a worldwide coverage and limelight.
