The month of Ramadan has already begun and that ‘fasting and feasting’ festival has set the tone right for the upcoming celebrations of Eid. But in India, many-a-times, culture brings about more division than unity. As Ramadan begun, we could not fail to remember this beautiful advertisement campaign that shows the true meaning of ‘festival’, and how humanity is more important than ‘religious divide’.
This advertisement, starring Archana Puran Singh and Sayani Gupta, also endorses how one should always respect one another’s culture and let that diversity become our strength.

The video shows how a Muslim woman — who is a doctor — is about to wrap up her Ramadan fast by eating in the evening, but that very minute a Sikh family needs her help for their daughter’s labour pains begin to trouble her. The Muslim lady (played by Sayani Gupta), immediately gets up, leaves her food and rushes to see the pregnant girl. After the delivery is done, here’s what the girl’s mother (Played by Archana Puran Singh) does for the doctor. Let’s watch this video and learn from the underlying message in it.
The month of Ramadan started on Friday, May 26 and will conclude on Saturday, June 24.
