On 16th of May 2019, Vicky Kaushal will turn 31 and will be flying to New York for celebrating his birthday. The URI actor has rented a luxurious villa in the countryside which is away from the city hullabaloo by a few hours. Vicky has invited his college friends for the birthday party which is supposedly a birthday cum reunion party. A source has revealed, “At the villa, he plans to relax and catch up with college friends who will arrive from Boston and New Jersey. It will be a birthday reunion of sorts.”
Vicky’s course includes wallowing in favourite cuisines and Broadway. The source further revealed, “There are a few burger joints and pancake restaurants in the city that Vicky loves and is revisiting all the old hunts. After his birthday, the actor will catch the award winning Broadway play Sleep No More, an immersive, site-specific telling of Shakespeare’s Macbeth”. Soon after the relaxing break at New York, he will be shooting for the biopic of Udham Singh.
Vicky Kaushal will be seen in Karan Johar’s period drama involving multiple stars, ‘Takht’, where he will be playing the role of Aurangzeb. The film also features Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bhoomi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is anticipated to make his debut with Karan Johar’s Takht although it is yet not confirmed. After wrapping up with Shoojit Sircar’s patriotic biopic, he is likely to begin his shooting for Takht. A report from a news outlet revealed that his role in Takht will be as meaty as Ranveer Singh’s character in the movie. Apart from these, Vicky Kaushal has URI director Aditya Dhar’s film on cards which is based on the mythological character of Ashwathama from Mahabharata.
A Mumbai Mirror based report stated, “After Uri, the makers wanted to return with something big and interesting. Aditya has been working on this script since a long time, even before Uri released, and when he sounded out Ronnie and Vicky, they immediately jumped on board. The film will be mounted on a big scale and will be shot later this year. Aditya is already neck-deep in research and will go on a race soon. The film will be shot all over India and the makers are targeting a mid-2020 release.” Aditya is in Los Angeles and is working on the script.
