Taapsee Pannu who has given a mind-blowing performance and impressed us all with Badla is yet again back in Kollywood with a horror thriller flick. The film Game Over helmed by Ashwin Saravanan who belongs to Maya fame gives us a story which is based on a medical condition called ‘Anniversary Effect’. The teaser was filled with chilling effects that gave goosebumps to the viewers. And now the official trailer of the psycho-thriller starring Taapsee Pannu is out and can we just say it’s even more spine chilling than the teaser. The fans are going eager after they have witnessed the intriguing trailer.  The good news is the movie will be available in three different languages- Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.  The Telugu trailer was released by Dhanush and Rana Daggubati respectively and the Hindi trailer was posted by Taapsee where she wrote, “Here’s the trailer of this game. Player 1 shall join you in theatres on 14th June #GameOver”. The horror flick movie will hit the theatres on June 14 across the country.

Taapsee Pannu’s powerful impact performance will keep everyone on the edge of the seat. It is quite evident how interesting the movie is going to be seeing the gripping narrative in the 2-minute trailer video.

The character that is played by Taapsee suffers from anxiety and nyctophobia. Taapsee Pannu will be seen here playing the role of a game enthusiast. In the trailer, Taapsee is found to be playing her role in a wheelchair-bound while she tries hard to escape from the invader. In the film, Taapsee will be found to be fighting against a hard-hitting incident that had affected her severely.  She is found to be in a sort of dilemma and feels threatened and scared as the anniversary day approaches. The movie overall looks like a horror film where a spirit of some kind tries to ignite fear inside her.


The Hindi version of the film is presented by Anurag Kashyap. Sashikanth from Y Not Studios is the producer of the film Game Over. Apart from Taapsee, the film also features Vinodini Vaidyanathan and Anish Kuruvilla who will be seen in the supporting roles. On the work front, Taapsee has finished and finally wrapped up shooting with Tushar Hiranandani’s ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ where she will be seen alongside Bhumi Pednekar. Besides Saand Ki Aankh, the actress is also on hold for the multi starrer film ‘Mission Mangal’ which will come later this year.
