Actress Huma Qureshi is in a roller coaster ride as she goes to all places in the world of entertainment. Recently she has boarded to a whole new level as she becomes the cast of filmmaker Zack Snyder‘s army of the Dead. The 32-year-old actress will be seen with Dave Bautista in the Netflix project. According to the streaming giant who announced in a statement that Army of the Dead will mark as the return of the director Snyder after a huge gap of two years. He is a well known and well-established director for his previous work on DC films like Justice League, Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  He has done his directorial debut 15 years ago with zombie horror, “Dawn of the Dead”.

Apart from Huma Qureshi, the film will feature other newcomer actors like Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi and Ella Purnell in the zombie thriller Dawn of the Dead.  The trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter where he announced the news of Huma’s association with the international project. In his tweet he gave the confirmation on the movie “Confirmed – Huma Qureshi named the Asian lead in Zack Snyder’s upcoming zombie drama Army of the Dead. The cast is headed by Dave Bautista along with several international names”.

In his latest venture, Zack will tell us the story of a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas where a man will be involved in assembling a group of mercenaries to pull off the greatest heist. Later, Huma Qureshi joins the teams. The producer of the project is Snyder and along with him, his wife Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller through their Stone Quarry production company are also behind producing the project.


The story of the film had been developed by a certain filmmaker for where Joby Harold, Shay Hatten is writing its screenplay. In July, principal photography would start. Huma Qureshi had talked about the movie in a statement, “I am so humbled and excited for the opportunity. Huge fan of Zack Snyder and can’t wait to begin the shoot”. At present, Huma Qureshi is waiting for the release of her web-series named Leila which will be premiered on Netflix on June 1. Besides that, she was recently spotted representing in the 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival where she was seen representing the liquor brand Grey Goose.
