The prestigious Cannes Film Festival is just around the corner while the celebs gear up to flaunt their style. The celebs will be seen in chic suits and slaying gowns. It will be pretty intriguing to see the celebs in various styles flaunting their beauty and outfit. Amongst most of the other celebs, one most prominent character in the 72nd Cannes Red Carpet is Kangana Ranaut, who has lately announced that she will attend the Cannes Red Carpet this year. Kangana Ranaut is a fashionista in true sense, thus it makes no sense in getting surprised on the announcement made by her. She is working with her stylist Amy Patel to create a new and unique look.
Kangana Ranaut has taken up quite a few projects that are lined up, but as of now she is shooting for ‘Panga’ for which she has to undergo some drastic physical transformations. In the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, she would be paying tribute to the rich cultural heritage of our country with her outfit as she will be wearing a saree that will be curated out of the rich fabric and the Indian forgotten weaves. Also, she will be working with the designers Falguni and Shane Peacock for her look in the event. In the event, she will portray Grey Goose and she revealed that her outfit will follow the theme “Live Victoriously”.
Furthermore she revealed about her looks, “The clothes I wear will have drama. At the same time, as an Indian actor on a global platform, I have the responsibility of endorsing our weavers and wearing outfits that reflect our rich cultural heritage. My stylist Ami Patel and I have been brainstorming for a few weeks. We, along with Falguni and Shane Peacock, are designing a unique saree. The idea is to revive the forgotten weaves and bring them to the fore so that the world is more aware of our rich fabrics and culture.” To this she added, “In 2012, I attended Rakesh Roshan’s birthday party without eyebrows. So, dressing riskily has never been a deterrent for me. I was one of the first actresses to start wearing sarees to the airport. I use fashion as an expression of myself. When I was seeing the MET Gala pictures, I thought to myself that in India, the real queen of camp would be Rekhaji. It’s wonderful how our women Priyanka (Chopra Jonas) and Deepika (Padukone) are making their mark there.”
