Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starring Bharat will hit the screen on June 5. The movie has already gone out for promotion but unfortunately, before being released, Bharat is filed against Public Interest Litigation in the Delhi High Court and is demanded to change the title of the film.
The title of the movie ‘Bharat’ is creating all the controversy. According to the report, a plea statement came from the petitioner Vikas Tyagi who mentioned that the movie is distorting and the culture and political image of our great country. He also added that the title in the film ‘Bharat’ is violating Section 3 of Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act and for that using of the word Bharat for commercial purposes is prohibited. In his statement, he said that the dialogue also needs to be changed where the character is being compared to the country. He mentions that it hurts the sentiments of the patriotic people in the country. He told to the media, “This film is fraught with Salman’s typical flippancy and vulgarity. Being a ‘Bharatiya’, I feel it is not appropriate to name such film or any character associated with this film after our great nation.”
Ever since Salman Khan started promoting his films, he is attracting all kinds of controversies to himself and to the film. Now, we do not know if this is a part of publicity or not but what it seems like is that it surely had attracted negative publicity. A few days back Salman Khan was seen attacking Priyanka Chopra in front of the media whenever he was getting chance to. The actress Priyanka Chopra stepped out of the movie to marry Nick Jonas. It seems like Salman has still not gotten over the fact and he continuously starts to dig at the actress in every media promotions. He once in a promotion said, “She, over Bharat, did choose USA in the ‘nick’ of time. She has worked so hard all her life, okay? And when she got the biggest film of her life, she dumped that film and got married. You know, hats off! Usually, people leave their husbands for a film like this.” He was throwing the same comment on every occasion.
The film Bharat is an adaptation of a Korean film An Ode To My Father. Salman Khan will be seeing in 5 different looks and it is going to release on June 5. There is also a recent rumour that an actress will be joining Salman Khan at a popular TV reality show Big Boss.
