The trailer of Batla house starring John Abraham had come out on Wednesday and we are hooked to it. The film Batla House is taken from a true story of the encounter case that happened in 2008. Everybody is stunned after seeing John Abraham’s performance in the trailer and we are clinging for more.

Batla House is slated to release on 15th August this year clashing between Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho and Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer Mission Mangal. We were already intrigued by the promotional posters, songs, and teasers of the three films and now finally we got to see the trailer of one of the three films, the John Abraham starrer Batla House.

The trailer of the film looks interesting and also does promises to give an insight into what exactly happened during the encounter of the Batla House which made headlines in the national newspapers back in 2008. Till now what the trailer of Batla House gave, the film seems like a winner from cinematography, background score to the performances.

John Abraham is playing the role of a cop and recently he was found talking about his character as he said, “The responsibility is even bigger as this is the first time I am playing someone who is still serving. If he (Sanjeev Kumar) thinks I am not good enough, he can shoot me (laughs!). So, I better be good at portraying him in the film. There were times when I was tempted to take creative liberties, but I refrained from that; I wanted to be true to the character. It was interesting playing him, but it was difficult, too, because it is a strong and conflicting character. A lot has happened in his life post the Batla House incident and to present that on screen was difficult. It’s like walking on a double-edged sword and you don’t want to tilt either way. So, this is not Nikkhil (Advani, director) or my version of a story that we want people to believe in, but this is what it is we believe in, factually.”

Though the officers at first were criticized for their action but later it was revealed that the young men were connected with the terrorist gang. The role of the lead officer will be played by John Abraham who will be supported by one of the officers played by Ravi Kishan.
