After earning decently at the box office, Anushka Sharma’s maiden production venture, NH10, witnessed its first big drop on its first Thursday. Due to a crucial World Cup match between India and Bangladesh, the film’s business suffered hugely. On its seventh day, the crime thriller pocketed Rs. 1.50 crore at Box Office India.
Check out the day-wise break-up of the film’s collections – Friday: Rs. 3.40 crore, Saturday: Rs. 4.45 crore, Sunday: Rs. 5.50 crore, Monday: Rs. 2.10 crore, Tuesday: Rs. 1.95 crore, and Wednesday: Rs. 1.90. So collectively, filmmaker Navdeep Singh’s NH10 has earned Rs. 20.80 crore so far.
The film’s collections may have plunged a bit, but NH10 is expected to pick up its pace again during its second weekend. At the same time, the film has an advantage that there’s no big competition for it until 3rd April, when Dibakar Banerjee’s Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! is slated to release.
NH10 has Anushka in a never-seen-before avatar. The actress is doing action stunts in the film. Neil Bhoopalam plays the male lead in it, and Darshan Kumar essays the role of the baddie, pitted against the leading couple.
