Tevar, starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, witnessed a dip on the fourth day of its release at the box office. The film collected approximately Rs. 04 Crores on its first Monday at Box Office India. Thus, Tevar now stands with a total collection of Rs. 26 Crores at the domestic box office.
The film, a commercial romantic drama, seems to have failed to impress the viewers. Contrary to expectations, it did not perform at its best. Tevar really needs to buck up its pace to sustain itself at the box office. However, the producers are making profits, as it is a low-budget film.
Tevar, despite starring a well-known star cast and packed with good music, has fallen short of setting the cash registers ringing.
Amit Sharma’s Tevar has been co-produced by Kapoor brothers – Boney and Sanjay. Tevar is a remake of Gunasekhar’s 2003 Telugu flick, Okkadu, which starred Mahesh Babu and Bhoomika Chawla in lead roles. Tevar also features Manoj Bajpai in a pivotal role.
