Dangal Day 1 Box Office Collection In China : The film has set the opening record for Indian films despite the fact the film was boycotted by the chain of the biggest multiplexes in the country. Aamir Khan’s biographical sports drama dangal has scored big on its opening day at the Chinese box office. Dangal, an inspiring story about a father’s struggle to turn his daughters into champion wrestlers, made a smashing debut in China.
Dangal, starring Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh, has raked in Rs 15 crore on the opening day of it’s release in China. The word of mouth of the film is excellent as reported by the Chinese press. Also, the reviews are phenomenal on Chinese movie rating websites. It released in over 7,000 screens despite China’s biggest cinema theatre group Wanda not choosing to screen it.
Ahead of the release of the movie, Aamir Khan toured Beijing, Shanghai and Changdu to promote his movie. Despite the fewer screens, the movie itself was doing well and had made more than PK did when released here two years ago.
