As was expected from Bollywood King Khan’s Fan – the movie has managed to grab fairly impressive occupancy all over Mumbai, Delhi, Gujrat, and Punjab regions. Releasing over 3500+ screens worldwide, Fan is most likely to bag in good box office collection on its first day.
Mumbai Circle Occupancy Report
Morning Shows: around 60%
Afternoon Shows: About 70-72%. A hike of about 10-12% was reported during afternoon shows
Evening Shows: Around 72% expected. No major advance booking hike was reported for late evening shows and the graph remained almost same.
Surprisingly, good occupancy rate was also reported in West Bengal region, where the language has always been a great concern.
As the movie is released on the festive day of ‘Ram Navmi’ and so, is the public holiday. Next, it can be assumed that Shah Rukh’s Fan is not released in competition with other movie and hence, the movie is the sole choice of audiences.
Whatsoever be the reason as anticipated, the movie might grab handsome box office collection of 30 Crore plus on its opening day. Well, if it happens, it’s fairly good first day collection – at least beating SRK’s Dilwale in terms of its first day collection.
So far, the movie has received good reviews. Where some audiences have appreciated SRK’s effort referring movie as ‘one of his best movies’, contrarily, some of them left with grim reviews claiming Fan not meeting their expectations. No doubt, when it’s about Shah Rukh’s movie the expectations are always as high as sky.
Overall, Fan has received reasonably good response in terms of occupancy and reviews.
