It’s just two and a half weeks and The Jungle Book has outdone all Hollywood’s Box Office records in India and made it over to over 150 Crore on Wednesday, reportedly.
After Bajirao Mastani who had catched the same figure in its 3rd week, it’s the American flick now who has nailed the box office with such huge collection. That, however, was so expected from the film as it has the content that pulls the audiences of all age group – children, youths as well as adults.
Mowgli had done wonders on national television way back in 90s when Sunday used to be reserved for Mowgli and his friends. And now the same Mowgli and his friends have won the hearts of millions on big screens across the country.
A great flashback from childhood memomries presented by Jon Favreau, must say.
Starring in the film are Neel Sethi as Mowgli and Idris Elba, Ben Kingsley and Bill Murray as other The Jungle Book’s characters.
