Review: Captain America: A Winter Soldier
Review: Captain America: A Winter Soldier
Rating: 4/5 (Four Stars)

Marvel’s hero are not  just in comic company anymore, they know how to create a magical world outside of books and weave a grand web of superheroes, supervillains, amazing science and different galaxies to satisfy one’s hunger to get entertained. It’s brilliant creations around SHIELD like Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Nick Fury, Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow and now, introduction of so many new characters in Captain America: The Winter Soldier are eye pleasing. They have provided everything a decent action flick required: Drama, conspiracy theory, Sacrifice & patriotism.

Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a real treat for superhero lovers and SHIELD fans. Yeah! It’s even better than your expectations!! In previous installment of the series, Captain America – First avenger, captain was introduced as a weak person getting superpowers due to some scientific experiments and then fighting against the evils of World War. Another Marvel’s movie ‘The Avengers’ gave a better understanding of Captain America’s powers and his character. He was portrayed as a decent person by heart yet adamant to his rules. In the latest movie, two years have been passed and now, Captain America is an active soldier of SHIELD. He works with fury on different missions and is a little confused about the technology and thinks there is a different motive behind SHIELDS’s propaganda.

While Chris Evans as Steve Rogers aka Captain America is working with SHIELD as an agent and assisting Fury in his  assignments to save the world, Captain is assigned to retrieve hostages from a highjacked SHIELD’s ship. While rescuing the hostages, Captain catches Natasha Romanoff copying some secret files from SHIELD’s ship. Before Captain could fully understand whats happening, SHIELD’s been compromised and Nick Fury is to be blamed. Alexander Pierce, a SHIELD founder and head of the World Security Council try to takeover SHIELD by force and mark Captain America as enemy no 1. Captain finds it really hard to trust anyone and starts solving the mystery.

Alexander Pierce wants to launch a secret project (three giant “helicarrier” gun ships) to control the world. Again HYDRA’s name comes to surface as the force behind Pierce, who is active since the world war and again is ready to take over the world. Captain America is again against his old enemy who have all the advancement and technology to their advantage.

Chris Evans as Captain America has given his best shots. His decent looks and spectacular acting made it possible to accept Captain America as your own hero in the film. Apart from Chris, Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff in the movie) and Samuel L. Jackson (as Nick Fury) outshined everyone.

Movie Captain America doesn’t have much to show as cgi effects but it definitely brings out the best of a superhero action flick. I wont spoil any surprises and will advice you to go and watch this superb film at a theater near you.
