It’s a sequel to last year’s Punjabi hit movie Jatt and Juliet. Despite being a sequel there is nothing in common between the two movies apart from few actors, shooting abroad and their screen names. If first Jatt and Juliet was a bomb, second part is no less.

Fateh Singh (Diljit Dosanjh) is an officer in Punjab police, who is sent to Canada on a mission to capture Shanki Daku. Fateh’s senior Inspector Joginder (Jaswinder Bhalla) is happy to get rid of Fateh. In Canada, he gets assigned to work with P.Singh (Neeru Bajwa as Pooja). Fateh’s real reason to come to Canada was to convince Pooja (who is commisioner’s daughter living in Canada) to come back to India. Because of some confusion Fateh starts chasing wrong Pooja (Bharti instead of Neeru) who works with a beauty salon and falls in love with real Pooja (P. Singh). P.Singh is ‘by the book’ type of police officer and Fateh is known to make his own rules as per the requirement. Because of official reasons, the duo tries to work together on the case and falls in love. After some ups and down Pooja Singh finds out about Fateh’s real reason to come to Canada and the love falls apart.

Now starts the chase of getting back together and finally towards the happy ending. As story takes a foot forward, so many sweet and funny characters are introduced. A Pakistani car driver, who love Indians while he is drunk and hates them when he is sober. Fateh’s speech about Punjab Police’s ways of working. None the less, each character has provided enough laughs and funny moments in the movie to make Jatt and Juliet 2 a successful movie.

Diljit and Neeru are the shining stars of Punjabi films. Both are perfect as on screen couple and actors. In Jatt and Juliet2, Neeru has a small role comparatively. Jaswinder Bhalla too had a small but perfectly played role. Rana Ranbir and BN Sharma were also brilliant.

Music is given by Jatinder Shah, who is known for his best catchy tunes. Shoulder, Buggi, Punjab Police, Naina and Mr. Singh are some famous and likeable songs.
