Trailer Review: 'Rang Rasiya'

The much delayed film ‘Rang Rasiya’ starring Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen will be finally hitting the screens on 7th Nov 2014. The movie is directed by Ketan Mehta and the trailer of the film was released just today.

The movie is based on the life of a infamous controversial painter Raja Ravi Varma. The film is set in the 19th century and after watching the trailer one thing seems to be guaranteed, that it will beautifully showcase the culture of that century. The sets used in the film look authentic for the film and gives the perfect feel of the 19th century.
The storyline of the film seems to be good and trailer finely showcases whether what the film is all about. Ketan Mehta’s direction looks good, but we really expect a lot from him as his helming style can make this controversial story into a fine film.

Randeep Hooda, who has amazed us with his performance in films like ‘Highway’ and ‘Kick’ this year, looks first-rate in the trailer. His acting seems to be excellent and it looks like the actor has carried off the role confidently. Nandana Sen looks seductive in the trailer and it seems, with her act, she too is ready to impress us.

The most notable element in the trailer is the music of the film given by Sandesh Shandilya. The music has a folk touch in it, which will surely gel well with the film.

Overall: The makes of ‘Rang Rasiya’ come up with a fine trailer which grabs our attention very well and creates a curiosity to watch the film.
