Today in Maharashtra, 17 parliamentary constituencies in total are going to polls in the final phase. The poll timing started from 7 am and will go on till 6 pm in the evening. The 2019 Lok Sabha elections are finally here and the high spirited people are already in queue to make their voices heard.
Celebs Getting Inked
Many Bollywood stars have spotted by the mid-day who has cast their votes. On 29th April 2019 celebs were found giving votes in full force. Ajay Devgan was seen casting his vote. The Dhoom3 actor Amir Khan appealed to all of his fans to vote. The actor even went to Instagram to encourage all the people in doing so. Kareena Kapoor Khan was spotted to vote with the star kid Taimur Ali Khan in her arms. Madhuri Dixit Nene was full of smiles while posing to the cameras showing her vote mark on her finger. She even tweeted for her fans “Voting is our right, let’s use it wisely! The future of our country is in our hands. Let’s do our duty and #VoteForIndia. The Quantico actor, Priyanka Chopra flew to Mumbai from Las Vegas in order to cast her vote. The actress even took her photograph to Instagram to share her picture to all after having voted.
Reena Dutta, Zayed Khan, and actress-turned-political Urmila Matondkar had also cast their vote at the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Farah with her girl power t-shirt was also seen arriving at the centre to cast her vote and Twinkle Khan aka Mrs. Funnybones have appeared in pink top and navy blue trousers. Kangana Ranaut wore a printed sari to cast her vote. Karan Johar was seen in a cool avatar when he posed for the camera after he cast his vote. Malaika Arora encouraged her viewers to vote by writing: “Vote Mumbai Elections!!!!!!#loksabhaelections2019”. Salman Khan even shared her inked finger photograph in order to request people for casting their vote.
Celebs as Role Models
Bollywood celebs as responsible citizens and also to create an example to all fans were seen heading t the Booth polls in huge number. The other stars who stepped out to cast vote were Sonali Bendre, Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Rekha, Soha Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan, Dia Mirza, Madhavan, Tiger Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Richa Chadha, Rahul Bose, Ravi Kishan, and Kunal Kohli.
Most of the celebs from B-Town had been seen urging people to step out and vote for the bright future in Nation.
