Happy Ending opened at a very low note. However, it was expected to grow business during its weekend. But alas! It failed. The film witnessed the expected drop on its first Monday. It collected merely Rs 1.80 crores on its fourth day. So now, it stands with a total collection of approximately Rs 16.30 crores at Box Office India.
In spite of receiving decent reviews, the film witnessed a dull opening. The film targeted majorly at the urban centres, and thus, it struggled at the mass centres. The collections at metro cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, and Pune were average.
Happy Ending, having a decent music and star cast, has failed miserably in the mass circuits. Being a solo release this week, the film did not benefit much from it.
In the film, Saif plays a Hollywood script-writer, while Ileana D’Cruz, Kalki Koechlin and Govinda also play important roles in it.
This flick is co-directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, and produced by Saif under the banner of Illuminati Films. The film also features Ranvir Shorey, and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Preity Zinta are in cameo roles in Happy Ending.
