Box Office India: Happy Ending Had A Terrible Weekend

The quirky comedy, Happy Ending witnessed a disastrous fate at the box office. The film was a huge disappointment over the first weekend. The film had a very dull opening. Inspite of the film having a good star cast, the film performed below the expectations. The film was overall received well by the critics but it failed to pick up much over the weekend. In 3 days, the film made a business of nearly Rs 14.50 crores at Box Office India.

The low collections outside the metros are no surprise to be less but the premium multiplexes in places like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore atleast could show some good growth from Friday afternoon, but the film failed miserably.

In the film, Saif plays a Hollywood script-writer, while Ileana D’Cruz, Kalki Koechlin and Govinda also play important roles in it.

This flick is co-directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, and produced by Saif under the banner of Illuminati Films. The film also features Ranvir Shorey, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Preity Zinta are in cameo roles in Happy Ending.
