Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New seems to have a gala time at the silver screens. However, the film slowed down on its fourth weekend. The film collected approximately Rs 1 crore over the weekend and now it stands with a total collection of nearly Rs 202.80 crore at the Box Office India.
The Shah Rukh Khan film, after pushing itself to the 200 crores, has slowed down drastically. This, after the new releases took over a good number of the screens.
This family entertainer, which opened to huge numbers and made 100 crores within the first three days of its release, has received mixed reviews by critics.
Apparently, box-office reports say that Happy New Year has broken many records and has set up a very high benchmark for the upcoming releases. Happy New Year is Shah Rukh’s second film to gross over 300 crores worldwide after Chennai Express.
The film is helmed by Farah Khan, and also stars Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah in principal roles.
