Shaad Ali’s Kill Dil showed an average performance over its fist Saturday. The film, which made actual business of nearly Rs 6.85 crores on Day 1, and it collected approximately Rs 7.10 crores on Saturday. The film was expected to have a good jump over the weekend but it failed to do so at Box Office India.
The film received mixed reviews and has failed to create any positive word of mouth so far. Currently, the film is standing with a two-day total of Rs 13.95 crores.
Kill Dil has been made on a budget of Rs. 40 crores and is expected to do better over the evening, night and weekend shows because of outstanding publicity and marketing. The film will still have to rely on good word of mouth to post good weekend collection figures.
Kill Dil features Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Govinda in pivotal roles.
The film is expected to work at the box-office, as it is Govinda’s comeback at the silver screens. The versatile actor will be seen in a full-fledged part in Shaad Ali’s Kill Dil. Govinda goes completely dark in the film. He plays a negative character called of Bhaiyaji in Kill Dil.
