As we know, Kill Dil had a very dull opening at the box-office, though the film made an average collection in its second weekend. Shaad Ali’s film collected nearly Rs 60 lacs on second Friday whereas around Rs 80 lacs on its second Saturday. Hence, now the film holds a total collection of approximately Rs 31.20 crores at Box Office India.
The film, having a renowned star cast, was truly a disappointment. Kill Dil was expected to run well at the metro cities but the film remained unnoticed. In spite of the pre-release buzz of the film being very strong, the film failed to impress the critics and received negative reviews.
Yash Raj Films’ Kill Dil was directed by Shaad Ali, and it features Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Govinda in pivotal roles.
The film was expected to work at the box-office, as it is Govinda’s comeback at the silver screens. The versatile actor is seen in a full-fledged part in Shaad Ali’s Kill Dil. Govinda goes completely dark in the film. He plays a negative character called of Bhaiyaji in Kill Dil.
