Emraan Hasmi features in Ezra: Be prepared for one hell of a spooky ride

The very own chocolate boy of B- town is back after three years with his new signed movie ‘Ezra’. The movie Ezra is the remake of Malayalam horror film. Emraan Hasmi is pretty confident about the movie and promises the audience to take on a “one hell of a spooky ride”.

The remake of the Prithviraj is produced by Panorama Studios. The remake is done by the same director named Jay Krishnan who directed the original Malayalam film. The shooting of the film is known to be having in Mauritius and Mumbai. While Emraan Hasmi’s character is confirmed but the search of the female lead actor is still in the process.


Emraan Hasmi on Horror Films

Emraan Hasmi shares his opinion on horror films. According to him horror films has an effect of drawing a large number audiences to movie halls. He feels this certain genre has a great potential to bring out more audiences.

Emraan Hasmi has high hopes for Ezra. He wants this to reach to a whole new different level where it pushes away all the boundaries. He wants the audience to have an experience and a ride which remains in their head long after they leaves the movie hall.

He expresses his appreciation for having the opportunity and working with Abhisekh and Kumarji and Jay in the film. He assures us for the movie to be a great spooky ride that definitely will stir up the audiences. Emraan Hasmi is well known for bringing thrills and creating spine chilling moments in his movies like “Ek Thi Daayan”, “Raaz: The Mystery Continues”, “Raaz 3: The Third Dimension”. His last horror film was “Raaz Reboot” and after that he was seen in films like “Baadshaho” and “Why Cheat India” which were social driven films.

Abhisekh’s Hopes For Ezra

According to Abhisekh, the producer, the Malayalam adaptation of Ezraa was famous and had a great success worldwide. The plot of the story is loved by all and a good story always has a universal effect and thus it won’t be wrong to imagine the potential of the movie that it might carry for the Indian audience. The movie has a fine blend of romance, horror and thriller and hence the audiences will get to have the tastes of every element one by one. He cannot wait to have some good responses with his remake. He is also looking forward to working with Emraan Hasmi for the third time after ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’ and the movie that remains untitled- Amitji which is still under production. Krishnan states that the movie will bring a fresh approach in the horror movie genre as it was well received in the South.
