RenukaShahane has not said this verdict right. Speaking to a news portal, Renuka said that after getting the censor board certificate, it is sad to get the EC’s decision. The manufacturers must have followed the entire process and they have fulfilled all the conditions. If the BJP created the film then it could have been banned, but it is not so. It was created by some people who are inspired by a particular person and who are the Prime Minister of this country. At the same time, SwarabBhaskar simply said that whatever the EC does or says, it should be equally applicable to all.

  • The Election Commission has taken a big decision aboutthe biopic film of the Prime Minister NarendraModi ‘PM NarendraModi’.Election Commission has banned Prime Minister NarendraModi’s biopic “PM NarendraModi” till the LokSabha elections. The Election Commission said that till the LokSabha elections are over, the film will remain banned. Earlier, the Supreme Court had dismissed the petition seeking the ban on the release of Prime Minister NarendraModi’s biopic ‘PM NarendraModi’ on Tuesday. The court had said that the appropriate institution to solve the petitioner’s concern is the Election Commission, because it is a constitutional body.
  • After this, the team of PM NarendraModi (Prime Minister NarendraModi) on Tuesday thanked the judiciary for rejecting the petition demanding a ban on the release of the film by the Supreme Court. The court said that the appropriate institution to solve the petitioner’s concern is the Election Commission, which is a constitutional body. The Election Commission should decide whether a particular political party does not lean or benefit from it during the election of the upcoming LokSabha Elections (LokSabha Elections 2019). Actor VivekOberoi, who played PM Modi in the film, praised the stand of the Supreme Court.

Earlier also, news was that the Election Commission is unlikely to stop the release of the biopic film made on the life of Prime Minister NarendraModi and the issue can be left out at the CBFC’s discretion. Opposition parties including Congress claimed that the film will give unfair advantage to the BJP in the election and its release should be postponed till the end of the election. The seven-stage LokSabha elections are scheduled to start on April 11 till May 19.

On March 10, the Model Code of Conduct was implemented with the announcement of the election. The Code emphasizes the need for providing uniform teams to all parties and candidates. There is an opinion in the Commission that the Central Board of Film Certification Board has the competent authority to decide on the matter. The film ‘PM NarendraModi’ was scheduled to be released on April 5 a week before the first phase of voting.
