The movie Brahmastra is the latest gossip in the B-town. The love birds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have come close in the movie set. We all are eager to see the film that made them fall in love with each other. More importantly, what excites us, even more, is the fact that it is the supernatural film. The film was started shooting 2017 and it nearly took two years to complete. So our expectations are pretty high from Brahmastra. The film is helmed by Ayan Mukherji and the film is taken as Bollywood’s next big thing. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing different avatar or shades of Lord Shiva and that just increases our craving for the film more.
Ranbir with German Movement Expert
Both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are still in the process of shooting. Ranbir is presently working with a movement expert from Germany. He is all set in prepping up for his role in the film. Recently there was a time-lapse video shared by the director Ayan Mukherji where Alia Bhatt is seen recording his movements while he is practicing.
Ayan wrote on the video: “Shiva Sessions ? Last Saturday, Berlin. Prep work for our next shooting schedule is on… and once again, our path led us to one of our most special collaborators on this journey – Ido Portal. (More on his role in helping Ranbir build his performance in another post…) For now, some random moments from our weekend brainstorming session with Ido… #preplife #traveldiaires #brahmastra[sic]”
The time-lapse video will show Ranbir interacting with the expert and Alia standing on a corner records the whole thing on her phone. The movie is going to be a three-part fantasy trilogy. The character that Alia will be playing is Isha and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing the role of the character Shiva. The plot of the Brahmastra has been taken from Hindu mythology. Alia even spoke to the Mid Day, “Ranbir and I have always maintained that Brahmastra is not a superhero film; it is a mystical fantasy drama. There is no reference [for comparison]. It’s a new film that is emerging from our industry. It could be a film that will make this industry proud and put us on a global pedestal. I don’t want to blow my own trumpet, but there’s immense faith in Ayan’s vision”.
