Lily Allen has complained she is bored of spending too much time at home and arguing with “trolls” on Twitter.
The 27-year-old singer – who has two daughters, 15-month-old Ethel and two-month-old Marnie, with husband Sam Cooper – is looking for something to shake her out of her daily domestic routine, other than responding to her critics on Twitter.
She tweeted: “Sometimes I wish I had better things to do with my time then change nappies, cook dinner, watch s”t telly and respond to Internet trolls. #bored #needtogetoutmore (sic)”
It seems the ‘Not Fair’ hitmaker – who hasn’t released a record since 2009 – had a change of mood in a matter of hours as earlier in the day she had been tweeting her excitement about one of her favourite TV shows.
She tweeted: “Just finished series 2 “Game Of Thrones”, so excited for series 3. Now though, Holby. #kidsinbed (sic)”
Twitter trolls have been a problem for Lily this week following her announcement she will name a pig after one of her followers if they join her Comic Relief challenge, and then send the meat from the animal when it is slaughtered to the user.
Though she offered an alternative – insisting she would save the animal from being butchered – if a vegetarian fan was chosen, she was deluged with messages over her “cruelty”.
The comments prompted her to rant: “Can people stop tweeting me about slaughtering a pig for charity! I keep pigs that are bred for the purpose of eating, I don’t see the problem.
“One vegetarian follower suggested that I offer the winner the chance to spare the pig so everyone could be involved. In retrospect, I could have been more sensitive. I hope that gives some clarity on the matter. I never said and I never would kill anything for charity or otherwise.
“Jesus. f***ing. christ. Some of these vegans are loonies, more vitriolic than the most misguided of Cheryl’s Soldiers.”
“So if the hippies could just get off my back, I’d be very grateful. Ta x (sic)”
