The film Chupke Chupke in 1975 which had a natural humour had made us feel good about life, the people in it and laughter. This is a comedy movie which can crack up anybody with its innocent prank that the characters played. This iconic movie played by Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan is process in remaking. Bhusan Kumar after finishing Pati, Patni aur Woh got the hold of a new remake of 1975 comedy movie Chupke Chupke. Mumbai Mirror report came with the fresh report that the role of Prof. Parimal Tripathi that was played by Dharmendra will be played by Rajkummar Rao. The rest of other leads will be selected soon.
Rajkummar Rao in the Remake of Chupke Chupke
The publication got news from a very close source to the development that the iconic film Chupke Chupke is many people’s favourite including Rajkummar Rao. Rajkummar Rao instantly agreed the role for he loved the idea of the remake and decided to come on board. The script have not finalised yet. The character of Rajkummar Rao will be seen in the dual avatars. Though the script has not finalised and the director and rest of other casts yet to be locked but the team already feels excited to make the film.
Chupke Chupke in 1975 and 1971
If you have not yet seen the original movie then you have no idea of how much it was loved by the entire movie buffs. Last week, 44 years of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s directorial gets completed. Dharmendra had a pivotal role in the movie where he played a lively botany professor and was under the deception of a chauffeur named Pyaare Mohan to trick his wife’s jeeja ji. Om Prakash played the role of jeeja ji who used to be an all knowing lawyer. On the occasion to the publication when Dharmendra was asked to comment, he said the movie can be a possible hit with an intelligent writer. But then again he said the remake will be facing a great challenge because the original version of the movie had been seen and loved by both old and young. So in order to be a hit like the original, it just has to be matchless.
The 1975 movie was also a remake from the 1971 Bengali film Chhadmabeshi which was played by Uttam Kumar and Madhabi Mukherjee. We cannot wait to see the other characters that will be chosen for the movie. The supporting cast of the 1975 movie Om Prakash, David, Asrani, Usha Kiran and Kesto Mukherjee were all gem actors.
On the other hand, Bhushan Kumar’s other remake Pati Patni Aur Woh will soon be hitting the screen. The original movie had casts like Vidya Sinha, Ranjeeta and Sanjeev Kumar. The remake will come with lead roles like Ananya Pandey, Kartik Aryan and Bhumi Pednekar.
