The fans are going mad over the movie which is set in 1946 marking the pre – partition rise.

Father’s Dream Project

The movie has a very high value for Karan Johar for it was his father, Yash Johar’s dream project. But the movie had different casts in mind initially. They were Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Kajol and Ajay Devgan. However, the movie got its light for his son Karan Johar who worked day and night for his father’s dream project and it finally paid off. The effort can be seen on the strings of comments of people that are used on social media like masterpiece, grandeur, amazing for the movie Kalank. Karan Johan mentioned to IANS in an interview that the value of Kalank is beyond commerce and goes far of the box of collection. The film stands at a very special place to him for it was his father’s dream project which he successfully made it true. He further reveals that he shared the story of Kalank right after Kal Ho Na Ho got released in 2003. He shared the story to his father knowing he has got a great amount of knowledge on the subject and since then it just became a dream for him to make the movie.

The film also brought other creative on the lime light. Abhisekh Verman’s craft are well praised by the social media users and they are simply in love with it.

The movie ‘Kalank’ got produced under the banners of Dharma Productions, Fox Star Studios, Nadiwala and Grandson. The music that is used in the film was composed by Pritam. The fine cinematography is done by Binod Pradhan.
