A relationship between a husband and a wife may end, but that between a mother and a father cannot. That’s the storyline of producer Ekta Kapoor’s new show on Sony TV after Bade Achhe Laggte Hain.
The tele serial, titled Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar, is a story of a mature couple, Dr Nachiket Khanna (Ronit Roy) and Ragini Patel (Pallavi Kulkarni Nerurkar) in the lead, who experience the details of human relationships.
A mere misunderstanding breaks Nachiket and Ragini’s marriage. Post the break up, Nachiket moves to America with three of their kids, and Ragini stays back in India with two kids. After a periodic time, Nachiket turns indifferent and rather insensitive, while Ragini is still trying to run away from the flickers of her failed marriage.
As we all know, fate always has a different plan, and their children become the pivotal reason for them to start life afresh. The story moves on to the five children, who help their separated parents rediscover their love after 15 years.
The show promises to be an emotional journey for the viewers. As Ekta describes it, “It is about ex-lovers who are parents, and explores an odd chemistry between them. The oddity is the question that it raises: do relationships ever end, especially between parents or does time ease or surge memories like waves?”
Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar launches this November on Sony Entertainment Television.
